The end might be nigh for the suitable Dvd but it is very unlikely that Blu-ray will be the harbinger of death. Especially when it comes to car Dvd players.
At this point in time, the Blu-ray players are too expensive, the media itself costs too much, and there isn't sufficient of an increase in capability between Dvd and Blu-ray to entice the mean consumer into changing to the new format, especially with car Dvd players. However the players aren't cheap to buy.
What's worse is that the disc players are scheduled to go on sale in Japan (only Japan, so far) in the fall of 2009. So if population aren't seeing for Blu-Ray car Dvd players what do they want?
How Blu Ray Car Dvd Players Won't convert the World OvernightWhen it comes to the automotive Dvd most population are on the watch for:
* great sound and photo quality
* supplementary sub woofers
* 16:9 ratio displays
* Low battery drainage
* Gps pilotage units
* Bluetooth connectivity
If you are selling on eBay or any other ecommerce network your best bet, based on best selling car Dvd units is to focus on units with Gps. A lot of consumers want a unit with Gps capable multimedia!
The Blu-Ray capable players may or may not ever take off, and right now it isn't feasible to try and sell them anyway, as there isn't anyone on the shop yet that is priced for reselling profitably.
Since the Dvd player is in a car, it only seems natural that many buyers would be concerned in having the Gps available, too. That may be even more true right now, since this is summertime and hence vacation time.
With families on road trips and traveling for vacations, besides wanting their car entertainment principles to entertain passengers such as restless, bored kids---a Gps gadget would undoubtedly come in handy! So don't worry about Blu-Ray just yet. Focus instead on Gps and you will watch your firm fly.
